The bridge stands ready for anyone willing to cross from fear and regret into hope and new life, trusting the One who said, “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6).

A young woman once wandered through a wide valley searching for something she could not name. She tried many paths. Some promised excitement. Others promised comfort. A few looked safe, but they led her in circles. Eventually, she reached the edge of a cliff overlooking a deep ravine. On the otherside she could see a land filled with peace, light, and rest. But there was no way across.
She sat down, tired and unsure, wondering if she would ever find the life her heart longed for.
As she sat there, she noticed something she had missed before. A simple wooden bridge stretched across the ravine. It was not flashy. It was not decorated. It was just there. Quiet. Steady. Waiting.
A gentle voice inside her said, “This is the way. You do not have to stay where you are. You can cross.”
She did not understand everything about the bridge. She did not know what the journey ahead would look like. But she knew this. Staying where she was meant staying lost. Stepping forward meant stepping toward hope.
So she took one step. Then another. And as she crossed, she felt something she had not felt in a long time. Peace.
This is what Jesus offers. Not pressure. Not fear. Not religion.
Just a bridge. A way forward. A new beginning.
You do not need to have all the answers.
You do not need to fix yourself first.
You simply take a step.
