Light of the Word Today
This is your extended personal deliverance prayer session. Set aside time. Find a quiet place. Read each section carefully before you pray it. And mean every word because every word matters before the throne of heaven.
"The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 NIV
Before we go into prayer there is something you need to hear very clearly. The prayers in this session are not emergency responses from a person who is losing. They are enforcement declarations from a person who has already won. Calvary settled the verdict. The blood of Jesus paid the price. The enemy was publicly disarmed and shamed at the cross as Colossians 2:15 declares. What you are doing in these prayers is not fighting for a victory that is yet to be won. You are enforcing a victory that has already been secured and applying it to the specific territories where darkness has been operating on the basis of access it no longer legally has.
Find a quiet place. Put your phone away. Give this the time it deserves. Read each prayer section carefully before you pray it so you understand what you are addressing. Then pray it aloud because Romans 10:10 says with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, and the same principle applies to every declaration of faith. Speak the words. Mean them. And trust that the God who hears prayer is actively responding to every word prayed in faith and in the authority of his Son.
Opening: Establish your position before you pray anything else
Father, I come before you right now in the name of Jesus Christ and on the authority of his blood alone. I am not approaching you on the basis of my own merit or my own righteousness. I am approaching you through the righteousness of Christ that was credited to me the moment I received him. I take my position right now. I am seated with Christ in heavenly realms according to Ephesians 2:6, far above every ruler, authority and power that can be named. I am not beneath my circumstances. I am above them in Christ. I declare that greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. I take the whole armour of God right now according to Ephesians 6:13. The belt of truth. The breastplate of righteousness. The shoes of the gospel of peace. The shield of faith. The helmet of salvation. And the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. I am dressed. I am positioned. I am ready to pray. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer 1: Against Every Evil Assignment and Evil Plan
Isaiah 54:17 in the NIV says no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. Not a hope. Not a possibility. A heritage. The specific inheritance of the person who serves God. Every plan that has been formed against your life, your family, your health, your finances and your future falls under this promise. And Job 5:12 in the NIV says God thwarts the plans of the crafty so that their hands achieve no success. Begin here. Address every evil assignment at its root before it addresses you.
Father, I come against every evil assignment that has been sent against my life in the name of Jesus Christ. Every plan formed in darkness against my destiny, my health, my family, my finances, my peace, my career and my relationships. I declare Isaiah 54:17 right now. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against me in judgement I condemn. This is my heritage as your servant and your righteousness is my vindication. I nullify every evil plan, every satanic agenda and every demonic strategy that has been set in motion against me, whether I am aware of it or not. I declare that what darkness has planned for my destruction will turn around for my advancement as Joseph's pit turned into his pathway to the palace. You intended it for harm but God intends it for good. Genesis 50:20. Every assignment against my mind is cancelled. Every assignment against my body is cancelled. Every assignment against my marriage and my children is cancelled. Every assignment against my finances is cancelled. Every assignment against my calling and my destiny is cancelled now in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus nullifies every one of them. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer 2: Against Witchcraft, Spells and Evil Spoken Words
Numbers 23:23 in the NIV says there is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel. What was true of Israel under the old covenant is exponentially more true of the believer who is in Christ under the new one. Proverbs 26:2 in the NIV says like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest. A curse without a legal cause cannot land on a life covered by the blood of Jesus. This prayer closes every door through which witchcraft or evil spoken words have attempted to gain access.
Father, I come against every form of witchcraft, sorcery and divination that has been directed against my life and my family in the name of Jesus Christ. Every spell spoken. Every curse sent. Every evil word declared by an enemy, a jealous person, a false prophet or anyone operating in the realm of darkness against me. I declare that Proverbs 26:2 is my protection. An undeserved curse has nowhere to land on a life covered by the blood of Jesus. I am covered. I am protected. I am hidden in Christ as Colossians 3:3 says. My life is hidden with Christ in God. I cancel every incantation, every prayer sent to darkness on my behalf, every ritual performed against my name, every photograph, object or item that has been used as a point of contact for evil directed at me. I destroy their power now in the name of Jesus and I declare that every such assignment is returned to the sender and rendered permanently ineffective. The blood of Jesus is my covering and no weapon formed in darkness can penetrate it. I plead the blood of Jesus over my name, my image, my voice and every point of contact that may have been used against me. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer 3: Against the Spirit of Death, Accident and Untimely End
Psalm 91 is the most comprehensive protection promise in all of Scripture. Psalm 91:10-11 in the NLT says no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. The word conquer in that verse is the Hebrew word nahal, meaning to meet with, to encounter, to befall. No evil shall befall the person dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. Psalm 91:16 adds I will satisfy him with long life and show him my salvation. Long life is the covenant promise. Untimely death is the assignment of darkness. This prayer enforces the promise against the assignment.
Father, I come against every spirit of death, every assignment of accident and every plot of untimely ending that has been directed at my life or at any member of my family in the name of Jesus Christ. I declare Psalm 91 over my life right now. No evil shall befall me and no plague shall come near my dwelling. You have given your angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways. Psalm 91:11. I declare that I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord as Psalm 118:17 says. Every satanic appointment with premature death over my life and the lives of my children and my loved ones is cancelled now in the name of Jesus. I bind the spirit of death and I command it to release every person it has targeted in my family. I declare that long life is my covenant right and I receive it now. I cover every journey, every travel, every road and every aircraft I board with the blood of Jesus Christ. No accident, no attack and no untimely end shall come near me or my family. Angels of God encamp around us now according to Psalm 34:7. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer 4: Against Spiritual Strongholds in the Mind
A stronghold is not primarily a demonic presence. It is an established pattern of thinking that has become so deeply embedded that it shapes how a person perceives reality and makes decisions. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says the weapons of our warfare have divine power to demolish strongholds. The strongholds of fear, unworthiness, shame, doubt, hopelessness, control, pride and addiction are dismantled not by willpower but by the divine weapons of prayer, the Word and the authority of Christ applied to the specific mental structure that has been established.
Father, I come against every stronghold that has been established in my mind in the name of Jesus Christ. I demolish right now the stronghold of fear that has made me live smaller than you designed me to live. I demolish the stronghold of shame that has kept me from approaching you with the boldness that Hebrews 4:16 says is my right. I demolish the stronghold of unworthiness that has caused me to disqualify myself from what you have called me to. I demolish the stronghold of doubt that has repeatedly undermined my confidence in what your Word says about my situation. I demolish the stronghold of addiction and compulsive behaviour in whatever form it has operated in my life. I demolish the stronghold of pride that has prevented me from receiving what only humility can access. And I take captive right now every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God as 2 Corinthians 10:5 commands. I bring every one of those thoughts into obedience to Christ. I replace them with the mind of Christ which 1 Corinthians 2:16 says I have. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer 5: Against the Spirit of Stagnation and Delay
There is a specific spiritual assignment that operates to keep believers in a perpetual state of almost but not quite. Always on the verge of the breakthrough but never quite arriving. Always preparing but never launching. Always promised but never possessing. It is the spirit of stagnation and it is one of the enemy's most patiently operated assignments because it does not produce obvious bondage. It simply keeps the person going in circles long enough for discouragement to make them stop. Isaiah 45:2 in the NIV says I will go before you and will level the mountains. Habakkuk 2:3 in the NLT says if it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will certainly happen. It will not be delayed. Claim both of those promises and break the assignment.
Father, I come against the spirit of stagnation, delay and circular movement that has been operating to keep me from the advancement, the breakthrough and the territory that you have ordained for me. I break its power over my life right now in the name of Jesus Christ. I declare Isaiah 45:2 right now. You go before me and level the mountains. You break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. Every spiritual gate that has been held shut against my progress is broken open right now in Jesus name. Every satanic delay on my breakthrough is cancelled. Every assignment that has kept me going around the same mountain year after year is terminated. I declare that this is my season of forward movement. I will no longer circle the same territory. I am crossing over into what you promised. Joshua 3:17, the priests stepped into the Jordan and the waters parted. I step out in faith right now. Clear the path Father. And let what has been delayed be released in Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer 6: For the Release of Divine Favour and Open Doors
Deliverance is not only about removing what darkness placed. It is also about releasing what God promised. Psalm 5:12 in the NIV says surely Lord you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favour as with a shield. Favour is not luck. It is the specific and targeted grace of God applied to a person's situation that produces results that their natural qualification alone could not have generated. After every deliverance prayer comes this one. The releasing of favour, open doors and divine connections that the enemy has been working to block.
Father, having broken the power of every assignment against me I now receive the fullness of what you have promised. I receive divine favour right now in every area of my life. Favour with people who hold authority over decisions that affect me. Favour in my workplace, in my finances, in my family and in every environment where your hand has placed me. I declare Psalm 5:12 right now. You surround me with favour as with a shield. I receive open doors that no man can shut according to Revelation 3:8. I receive the divine connections and the specific relationships that you have assigned to the advancement of my purpose. I receive supernatural acceleration in every area where darkness has produced delay. I declare that the years the locusts have eaten shall be restored according to Joel 2:25. Every blessing withheld, every promotion delayed, every opportunity that passed me by, I receive the restoration and the acceleration of all of it now. Let your favour go before me into every room I enter today, every conversation I have and every decision that will be made about my future. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer 7: For Protection Over Your Children and Family
Isaiah 49:25 in the NIV says I will contend with those who contend with you and your children I will save. The protection God provides does not stop with the individual believer. It extends to the family. And the parent who stands in their authority in Christ and covers their children specifically in prayer is doing one of the most practically powerful and most permanently significant things a parent can ever do for their children. Job prayed for his children regularly. Genesis 18:19 records God speaking of Abraham's household as one that would keep the way of the Lord. The covering you pray for your children is real and it is effective.
Father, I come before you right now and I cover every member of my family by name in the blood of Jesus Christ. I cover my children, my spouse, my parents and every person you have placed in my family. I declare Isaiah 49:25 right now. You will contend with those who contend with them and you will save my children. I break every assignment against my children's minds, their identity, their faith, their health and their future in Jesus name. I bind every spirit that has targeted my children through peer pressure, through ungodly influences, through the education system and through the digital world they navigate every day. I release the angels of God to encamp around each one of them as Psalm 34:7 promises. I declare that as for me and my house we will serve the Lord as Joshua 24:15 declares. My household is covered. My children are protected. My family is under the blood. And no assignment of darkness has the right to touch what is covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer 8: For Freedom from Sexual Bondages and Soul Ties
Sexual bondages and ungodly soul ties are among the most common and the most deeply entrenched forms of spiritual captivity in the modern world. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 in the NLT says run from sexual sin. No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Sexual sin creates spiritual connections between people that remain active in the spiritual realm even when the physical relationship has ended. These soul ties need to be specifically identified, renounced and severed by the authority of Christ.
Father, I come before you today and I bring into the light every sexual sin I have committed and every ungodly soul tie that was formed through sexual contact outside of the covenant of marriage. I name each relationship before you honestly without minimising what happened. I confess each one. I receive the forgiveness and the cleansing of 1 John 1:9 right now. I renounce every soul tie formed through every sexual relationship outside of your design. I sever every ungodly spiritual connection in the name of Jesus Christ. I reclaim every part of my soul and my spirit that was given away in those connections. I command the return of everything that was given and I release everything that was taken. I declare that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and it is reconsecrated to God right now. I break the power of every sexual stronghold including pornography, lust, sexual addiction and every fantasy that has occupied space in my mind that belongs to the Holy Spirit. I receive the purity that the blood of Jesus provides. And I declare that my sexuality is restored to God's original design in Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer 9: For the Reclaiming of Stolen Blessings and Stolen Time
John 10:10 in the NIV says the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. Jesus used the word thief deliberately. A thief takes what does not belong to them. And the blessings, the time, the opportunities and the years that have been stolen from your life through darkness operating in seasons where access was available, belong to you. Joel 2:25 in the NKJV says I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. God is not a God of the average. He is a God of restoration. And what was stolen can be restored with compound interest.
So the Light of the World word for today and for the close of this four-part deliverance series is this. You prayed. And what you prayed over your life today does not expire at midnight. The blood of Jesus applied to a situation is not a temporary covering that requires constant reapplication to remain effective. It is the permanent, legal, spiritually binding application of the most powerful substance in the spiritual realm to the specific territories of your life. The enemy cannot undo what the blood has sealed. Stand in what you have received. Walk in the freedom that was purchased. And remember that every morning you wake up from this point forward, you are waking up as someone who has enforced the verdict of Calvary over their life. That verdict does not change. And it is yours.
